Simtec’s Prestec can be applied with an Hvlp or Lacquer type gun, which ever is acceptable in your area.  Use 25-45 lbs. Air pressure with the Lacquer type gun, holding the spray gun 12-18 inches from the surface being coated.

You can apply 1 coat with in 20 minutes, you need to wait until that coat is stringy (to check if it is stringy just use your finger to see if the coating is stringy when you touch it and it stick,s to your finger).  Then you can apply your next coat.  And then do this again for your 3rd coat.  Do not recoat after 1.5 hours have passed on your last coat.  You must let it cure then sand and start over again.  You can apply 4-6 mills at a time.  Total mills 20-25 mills wet.

Let the product cure for a day (You can put in a curing room at temperatures from 85 degrees F to 100 degrees F) then you can fine sand and buff the product out to a beautiful high gloss finish.
